My name is Urken, Founder and Operations Director of Mystic Mountain Adventure. I was born and raised in a remote village in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, in the heart of the Himalayas. Growing up in the mountains taught me resilience, determination, and a deep appreciation for nature. Walking long distances to school was a normal part of daily life, and despite many challenges, I remained committed to my education and dreams. After completing my schooling, I moved to Kathmandu with aspirations of working in a government office. However, an opportunity to assist my uncle in the tourism industry introduced me to the world of travel and adventure, where I discovered my true passion for exploring the Himalayas and sharing their beauty with others.

Since beginning my tourism career in 2008 as an assistant guide and group leader, I have gained extensive experience working with travelers from around the world. Today, as the founder of Mystic Mountain Adventure, I combine my local knowledge, mountaineering experience, and dedication to exceptional service to create unforgettable journeys across Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and India. My mission is to guide travelers beyond the ordinary, introducing them to hidden valleys, remote villages, forgotten mountain trails, and authentic cultural experiences. Together with my team, I am committed to delivering safe, responsible, and memorable adventures that showcase the true spirit of the Himalayas and create lifelong memories for every traveler.
